Been working on some Folsom Prison Blues. Johnny's alternating bass note is the first way I learned to play chords, so it works for me. I'm also learning "Before You Accuse Me" (bluesy Clapton) and an old jazz tune called "Dinah." Is there anyone finer? My guitar teacher is...I think...a jazz musician, so there's lots of jazzy stuff going on. I really like playing it. Jazz is uncharted territory for me, and it seems HUGE. I feel like I have so much to learn. That's probably a good thing.
Spring break is finally here. Time to breeeeathe. I'm celebrating with TWO yoga classes this week. And Colorado, of course! Snowshoe nature hike, here I come.
